Bear Creek Waterfest
The annual Bear Creek Waterfest is held every last Saturday of April at Townsend Park in Cannon Township. Waterfest features a breakfast served in the cabin, various community and environmental groups who offer displays, games and activities for children, including the famous rubber duck races. Baked goods are sold by the Cannon Historical Society. Waterfest is a fun way to learn about watershed education.

Christmas Tree Recycling
Christmas Tree Recycling is offered by Cannon Township and Rockford High School Honor Society the first two Saturdays in January at the Township Center.
