NOTICE:  Cannon Township Center Closed to the Public until April 6

Closed to the Public
At Cannon Township, our top priority is always the health and well-being of our residents, employees, and visitors. Amid escalating concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to close Cannon Township Center to visitors until April 14, a date that may be extended if warranted.  This action is being taken as a precaution to avoid the unnecessary spread of COVID-19.

Routine Business During this closure, all doors will be locked.  Township employees will continue to be available during normal business hours to answer your questions or concerns via phone (616-874-6966) or the website at www.cannontwp.org.  Bills can be paid online or by mail.

 Township Meetings
The Board of Trustees, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Planning Commission will continue to meet as scheduled.  Residents are encouraged to attend these meetings only if their participation is 1) critical to the published agenda items, and 2) they are healthy and asymptomatic.  Starting March 23rd, all public township meetings will be streamed via Facebook Live.  Questions and comments intended for the public record may be submitted during the meeting to the Deputy Clerk Nancy Popma at nancyp@CANNONTWP.ORG.

 Hall Rentals
If you have rented the Township Hall during this period of closure, your deposit or rental fee will be refunded in full.  Please contact the office to arrange for your refund.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.  Please check the website for updates.
